Refund policy

Wiew is a mobile app. Everything you buy from us is bought inside the iPhone or Android app, which means Apple or Google takes the payment and holds the billing relationship. This page explains what we refund, what we do not, and what the app stores do regardless of our policy. It applies to purchases made in the United States.

The short version. Delivered work is not refundable: a report you have received, or advertising that has already run. A professional subscription is not refunded part-way through, it simply runs to the end of the period you paid for. Advertising cancelled at least 72 hours before it is scheduled to start is refunded in full.

1. Reports

A report is delivered the moment you can read it. Because the whole product is the work that went into producing it, a delivered report is not refundable. If a report fails to generate, arrives incomplete, or does not cover the property you purchased it for, that is our error and we will credit or reissue it. Write to us and we will fix it.

2. Professional subscriptions

• Cancel whenever you like. There is no minimum term, no early-termination fee and no cancellation penalty.
• Your subscription runs its course. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not refund or prorate the remainder of that period.
• Cancel through the store. Manage or cancel from your Apple or Google account, which is also where auto-renewal is switched off. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

3. Advertising and campaigns

• More than 72 hours before it starts: full refund. Cancel a scheduled campaign at least 72 hours before its start time and you get the whole amount back as Wiew credit.
• Inside 72 hours, or once it is running: no refund. By then the placement is committed and the spend has begun, so the amount is not returned.
• Delivered advertising is not refundable. Reach that has already been served has been provided, whatever the campaign produced for your business. We sell placement and delivery, never a promise of enquiries, calls or jobs.

4. When we credit you without being asked

We do not charge for what we failed to deliver. If a campaign does not run, stops early, or delivers materially less than what was stated when you bought it, we credit the difference ourselves. You do not need to file anything or argue your case, and we would rather catch it than have you notice.

• Wiew credit does not expire. Credit sits on your account until you use it on something else.

5. What the app stores do, whatever this page says

• Apple. Refunds for App Store purchases are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com and are granted at Apple's discretion. We do not control that decision and cannot make it for you. Apple may refund a purchase that this policy would not.
• Google Play. Google lets you request a refund directly for roughly 48 hours after a purchase. After that window Google sends you to us, and we apply the rules on this page.
• Cancelling is not refunding. On both stores, cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. It does not return money already charged.

6. How to ask us

Email support@thewiew.com from the address on your account, with what you bought and when. We reply within two business days. If we owe you a refund or a credit under this page, we will say so plainly and apply it.

7. Your legal rights

Nothing on this page limits rights you have under applicable United States federal or state law. Where the law gives you a right to a refund that this policy does not, the law wins.

8. Changes

If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date. The version in force when you bought something is the one that applies to that purchase.
